It is Thanksgiving and what do we do? Nothing to buy or it is no money to spend. Staying at home will bring unhappiness and conflicts.
The home minister provides the approval to head out.
Plan: Des Moines, IA to Peoria, IL to Detroit, MI and back home.
We wake up late on the Thursday afternoon and head out at 2pm to Peoria. The lunch is at The World's largest truck stop on I-80. We reach my friends place at 6pm and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with them. The we go to Kohls for feel the Black Friday shopping sprit.
The next morning we head to Detroit and reach in the evening for the good food with a drink at my friend's house with their new friend. An enjoyable night.
The next day started lazy and a late lunch. We meet only of my roommates and it was good. Then we spend a bit of time at a nearby mall. Next it was time for some shopping of vegetables, fish and meat to take back home.
We start early Sunday morning back home with my partner driving for an hour. We reach home about 3pm and a great time it was.
